Hi, I'm Hamza Alpoguz – a 3D animator and designer based in Germany. As someone who works with complex scenes and animation in Blender every day, I created PSelect to make selection workflows faster, clearer, and more flexible. PSelect isn’t just a selection tool. It’s a smart system for organizing your rigs, layouts, and animation setups. With its powerful set and group features, you can quickly build clean structures, isolate elements per viewport, or auto-generate sets based on object types – and recall them instantly. Whether you're animating characters or managing large environments, PSelect helps you stay focused on the work, not the clicks. Thanks for checking it out, and feel free to reach out with feedback or suggestions! Hamza

Overview

PSelect is a powerful and artist-friendly selection add-on for Blender, designed to streamline animation, rigging, layout, and scene organization. It offers a smart set-and-group system with an intuitive UI that helps artists manage selections quickly and efficiently – without digging through the outliner or constantly reselecting objects.

Whether you're working on a film, character animation, or a large layout scene, PSelect helps you:

  • Create and recall selection sets for objects or bones

  • Organize sets into groups for better structure

  • Isolate or hide sets per viewport for focused work

  • Auto-generate smart sets based on object types or rig structure

  • Convert sets into Blender collections with color tagging

  • Export and import sets and groups for use across projects

PSelect integrates seamlessly into Blender’s 3D Viewport with all controls accessible from the sidebar. It's a clean and flexible system built for speed, clarity, and creative flow.
